Recently, the subsidiary of Taos Electric, Zhejiang Tao’s Electric (formerly Wenzhou Tao’s Electric) passed the national high-tech enterprise authentication and obtained the certificate. The national high-tech enterprises are knowledge and technology-intensive enterprises, mainly covering eight fields including electronic information, aerospace, new materials, high technology services, new energy and energy conservation, resources and environment, advanced manufacturing and automation.

It is reported that in 2016 the new version of identification management method of New and High-tech Enterprises has been implemented.  It has more strict requirements on enterprises’ independent intellectual property rights, continuous research and development capability, the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements and sales growth.
