Research and study trip in Europe by the International Strategy Seminar of China’s Ministry of Commerce

From September 1st to 10th, 2014,  Mr. Tao, chairman of Taos Electric, as a  member of International Strategy Seminar of China’s Ministry of Commerce,  paid a study visit to Europe with over 20 well-known domestic entrepreneurs. Professor Wang Zhile, Chinese famous economist , researcher of  China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Institute director of Beijing New Century Transnational Corporation led the study tour.  It  covered four countries including Germany, France, Holland and Belgium and mainly visited five well-known international enterprises including Siemens, Daimler-Benz AG, Voith Group and  Danone Group,  as well as Electricite De France.   

The major task of the trip is to understand and learn the compliance system and sustainable development strategy of the above well-known enterprises. The in-depth discussions on the compliance management conducted during the visit. All the members agreed that it’s the inevitable choice for the companies to carry out compliance management to get bigger, stronger and achieve sustainable development.

Entrepreneurs should make great efforts to promote the establishment of a strong compliance management system to adapt to the global market and achieve everlasting development.  It coincides with the three principles of economic community of co-destiny advocated by Taos Electric and its partners at home and abroad. First is principle of mutual benefit, pragmatism and interests; second is principle of justice, matching and value; third is principle of compliance, integrity and sustainable development.

Through this study trip,  Mr. Tao required the board of directors to further improve the compliance management system of Taos Electric, set up the compliance consciousness for all members, make the compliance code of conduct and implement the compliance spirit into concrete actions.
